Power UP is returning to the London Science Museum this Easter for the third year in a row. The event runs between 30 March and 15 April 2018 and tickets go on sale from 1 February.

A whole section of the museum is given over to video games which represent 40 years of gaming. There’ll be over 180 consoles to play literally hundreds of games including retro greats such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Super Mario Kart and Goldeneye, as well as current generation titles like Splatoon 2. There’s also a chance to try out Playstation VR.

Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for children for a 90-minute gaming session. The rest of the museum is free to look around and it’s a fantastic day out for the whole family.

For more information and to book your tickets visit the Science Museum website.

If you’re interested in finding out more about the event then check out Youtuber Trista Beck’s video from last year’s Power Up.

It looks like a great way to entertain the kids during the Easter holidays!
